Hood Light HouseWhether you are visiting the Oceanic Hotel for work or leisure, make sure to take in some time to explore the city of East London. East London is situated in the Eastern Cape (the second largest province in SA) situated in the south-eastern coast of South Africa. East London is part of Buffalo City Municipality and is also the home of the new East London Industrial Development Zone (IDZ). Something that is unique to East London is the Buffalo River Harbor, the only river harbor in the whole of South Africa. East London has Xhosa, Afrikaans, British, German & Dutch cultural influences and the city is very casual, as is the hotel. Most places have a very casual dress code.
